Twenty-three people were killed and 36 injured in a bus accident on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, east of Casablanca, one of the drunk traffic dramas in Morocco in recent years, according to a record of the regional health authorities.
The vehicle overturned in a turn on a national road in the province of Khouribga, local authorities said that have not reported foreign tourists among the victims.
The coach ensured the connection between the megalopolis of Casablanca and the rural region of Aït Aatab, near the city of Béni Mellal, at the foot of the High Atlas.
