The number of victims of the coronavirus in Italy increased to 52 after the announcement of the death of 18 people contaminated by the virus between Sunday and Monday.
The Italian Civil Protection Head indicated that deaths are linked to the elderly or people with serious illnesses, adding that a significant increase in the number of experienced cases was recorded to reach 2036 cases against 1694 cases on Sunday evening.
