Foreign ministers from 16 countries have called for compliance with international law and to avoid any illegal action against the flotilla of world freedom, which aims to send Aid to Gaza.
This call was launched in a statement published Tuesday by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Bangladesh, Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia, Ireland, Libya, Malaysia, Maldives, Mexico, Pakistan, Qatar, Oman, Slovenia, South Africa and Spain.
The ministers have expressed their concern about the security of the flotilla of world freedom, in which citizens of their respective countries participate, reports the Anadolu agency.
The press release specifies that this flotilla aims to send humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, while raising awareness of the urgency of the humanitarian needs of the Palestinian people and the need to end the war in Gaza.
He stresses that the objectives of peace and routing of humanitarian aid, as well as respect for international law, including international humanitarian law, are objectives common to the governments of the aforementioned countries.

The press release finally recalls that “any violation of international law, including attacks on ships on the high seas or their illegal detention, as well as any damage to the human rights of the fleeting participants, will lead to legal responsibilities”.
