Hassen Doss’s song “Chatha” song is buzzing on social networks. Some love it, others criticize. However, it must be admitted that the clip and the song itself are very original. The young lyric singer signs here a parody of the clips of contemporary Arab music that we are used to seeing on television channels such as Rotana and Co.
The singer, Hassen Doss, is a 27 -year -old Tunisian tenor. Spotted at 19 by Henry Runey, a famous American bass, who gives her her first singing lessons, Hassen Doss is studying lyric song at the Higher Institute of Music in Tunisia. In October 2011, he won the “Young Hope” Prize for the International Lyric Singing Competition in Vivonne in France. Hassen Doss participates in several local and international productions including the Traviata de Verdi in which he interprets Alfredo and the wedding of Figaro in the role of Don Basilio.
In 2013, he was selected to interpret the Duke of Mandoue in Rigoletto de Verdi in Montmorillon in France.
The fact that a young Tunisian artist has reached this level of international notoriety is everything in his honor and even if with this last creation, Hassen Doss does not win all the votes, it is necessary to encourage such talent, which will certainly do other of our compatriots, to judge the following comments.
