The Diocesan Library of Tunis today welcomes from 9:30 am a meeting listed as part of the “Knowledge of Saint-Augustin” cycle which has been continuing since May 2015 with several stakeholders.
The meeting of this Tuesday, October 20 is entitled “Saint-Augustin and the influx of migrants”. It will be presented by Father Bernard Jobert, former parish priest of Skikda in Algeria and current parish priest of Bourg Lès Valence in Drôme in France.
This communication from Father Jobert intervenes in preview of his next participation in an international conference which will take place in Annaba, Algeria, at the end of November on the initiative of the Faculty of Letters, Human and Social Sciences of Annaba.
Communication will deal with the position of Saint-Augustin in the face of “the influx of migrants” in its time which coincided with the first major cracks in the building of the Roman Empire of the West.
