While she is exhibiting her collection Les Belles de Carthage at the Imagin art space in Carthage Dermech, Olga Malakhova has just completed the current series in a beautiful way.
Indeed, after the discovery at the Tophet of Carthage, of an artifact which dates back to the fourth century BC, this artist imagined the colors which should adorn the representation which was unearthed.
This is how the Belle of Tophet has just been born, joining the other Belles of Carthage, the theme of the current exhibition. Malakhova thus underlines its permanent synergy with our ancient heritage and initiates a new series inspired by the recently discovered statue fragment.
