The Tunisian Symphony Orchestra is preparing to start a prestigious summer tour with the show “La Nuit des Chefs”, an extraordinary musical experience which will stop at three major national festivals.
The trip will start on July 12 at the Hammamet International Festival, will continue on July 20 as part of the Nocturnes d’El Jem, and will end on August 1 on the majestic scene of the Carthage International Festival.
This original production, imagined under the sign of artistic diversity, will bring together several conductors from various horizons. Everyone will direct a work or movement, printing their vision, their sensitivity and their energy to the symphonic whole.
This plurality of baguettes promises a living and contrasting exploration of the repertoire, where each chief will bring his own reading of a score, transforming the orchestra to each intervention.
Much more than a concert, “The Night of Chefs” promises to be an immersive and evolving experience, where orchestral management becomes a real language in itself. The presence of several chefs in the same evening invites you to perceive the orchestra as a perpetual metamorphosis body, capable of revealing unsuspected nuances over the interpretations.
The concert will be enriched by the participation of the choirs of the Tunis Opera Theater, bringing a powerful vocal dimension to this musical celebration. In an atmosphere of artistic dialogue between chefs, musicians and audiences, this tour is an ode to the richness of symphonic expression and the universality of music.
