The American University Villanova is established in Penusylvania, in the USA.
This university was founded in continuation of the teachings of Saint-Augustin, which is in a way the spiritual father of this educational institution.
Currently, a group of students from Villanova University are making a return to Augustinian sources, with a study trip to Tunisia.
Indeed, the fate of Saint Augustine is linked to Carthage.
During their stay, American students study the Tunisian revolution and carry out many field visits.
For their first day in Tunisia, they were able to measure themselves against Tunisian diversity.
Thus, they visited the great synagogue of Tunis, the Cathedral of Tunis and the prestigious Zitouna mosque.
A real “Hat-Trick”, to use the expression of a student, impressed by this three pass!
Beyond that, these university group study trips are a new Tunisian tourism trend that is struggling to meet after the revolution.
If American students are present in force, we are entitled to wonder why European universities do not organize study trips of this type.
