This September is as always conducive to the resumption of cultural activities after the parenthesis of summer festivals.
Remarkable, the European Union delegation turns out to be a major player in this school year thanks to its traditional initiatives and also support for local events.
Thus, the delegation of the European Union is on three different fronts and brings clear water to the mill of cultural action. What are these three cultural events in which the European contribution is decisive?
- International Ghar El Melh photography meetings. Inaugurated on September 8, these meetings benefit from the support of the European delegation which constitutes their main institutional partner.
- The European Film Festival. Renamed “Cinema Jet” (the cinema has arrived), this festival will take place in two stages with a session in Tabarka, from September 12 to 21, and another in Nefta, from October 10 to 19. For this edition, this event is based on a traveling truck intended to bring the cinema closer to all audiences. This festival is an initiative of the European Union delegation.
- European days of languages. This is another initiative of the European delegation with the participation of the Council of Europe and the EUNIC network of European cultural centers in Tunisia. These European days of languages will take place on September 26 and 27 in Tunis, Sousse and Sfax.
