A new tourist offer called “The Culinary Road” will be developed in Tunisia, in collaboration with La Giz, as part of the “Sustainable Tourism Promotion” project.
It is an initiative that offers tourists the opportunity to discover the country through its flagship and varied culinary products.
The “culinary road” will spread over several regions of the Tunisian territory with a view to interregional economic development, diversification of the tourist offer and the creation of employment opportunities. The whole thing, will be part of a participatory and inclusive approach with producers, farmers, winegrowers, craftsmen and restaurateurs in the terroirs concerned.
The choice was made to the following products: “The northwest cheese”, “La Harissa du Cap Bon”, “Olive oil from the center and the Dahar”, “North wine”, “The dates of the southwest” and “the Kerkennah octopus”.
