The 2024 edition of the Musical October of Carthage highlights the choir of the Cathedral of Geneva for two meetings which will take place at the Cathedral of Tunis.
Two exceptional highlights are waiting for the Musical October of Carthage’s Musical October with the arrival in Tunisia of the Choir of the Cathedral of Geneva.
Two evenings are on the program on October 25 and 26 at Tunis cathedral.
The Geneva cathedral choir includes 55 choristers and instrumentalists. Carried by the association “The Friends of the Choir of the Cathedral of Saint-Pierre de Genève”, this training has been directed since 1997 by Florence Kraft and has taken semi-professional status since 2001.
The arrival of the Geneva choir on the musical October of Carthage 2024 is an initiative supported, among other things, supports by the Embassy of Switzerland in Tunisia and the Tuniso-Suisse Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Since 2021, after the closure of the Saint-Louis Basilica in Carthage, musical October has taken place in consecrated churches, with the support of the Archbishopric of Tunis.
