The Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF), chaired by the famous star Hussein Fahmy, is pleased to announce that its 46th edition will be held from November 12 to 21, 2025 at the Cairo Opera.
Commenting on this announcement, Hussein Fahmy said: ” With the announcement of this new edition, we measure the extent of the efforts necessary to meet its challenges and achieve the success we hope, while learning the lessons from past experiences. We are convinced that this edition will leave a distinctive imprint in the history of the Cairo International Film Festival. I am particularly enthusiastic, because we started the preparations the day after the closing of the previous edition. »»
The Cairo Film International Film Festival is one of the oldest festivals in the Arab world and Africa. It is distinguished by being the only festival of the Arab and African regions to be classified in category A by the International Federation of Film Producers (FIAPF) in France.
