The 32bis, a new urban art gallery, will be inaugurated this Friday, June 5 at 6 p.m. Friday.
In the city center of Tunis, in the old building that housed the Philips factory, Yosr Ben Ammar and Mehdi Ben Cheikh, the owners made this space a place of discovery or artistic rediscovery.
For the inauguration of this unusual place, ten Tunisian and international artists participated in the first exhibition “Urban Project”. The works of these artists are exposed to the four-cooks of the world.
BTOY and DAVID DE LA MANO are Spanish artists, one known for its portraits, the other for its murals. Wise 2, is a Kenyan artist recognized for his graffiti full of spiritualities, as for Swoon, she is American and her work is committed and humanist.
The Franco-Tunisian artist Elseed, who recently replaced by his art the padlocks of the Pont des Arts in Paris, will be present, just like Pantonio (Portugal) and Brusk (France) who are also exhibited on the Pont des Arts.
Other Tunisian artists participate in this exhibition, including Dabro, known for his scenes representing characters in traditional clothes, Inkman, whose work focuses on Latin letters, or Shoof, which uses Arabic calligraphy.
