The 21st session of European cinema days (JCE), starts this Tuesday, September 16 in Tunis on Tuesday, September 16 and will cover six cities.
In Tunis, the opening film, the documentary “Les Tourmentes” of Belgian Pierre-Yves Vandeweerd, will be screened this evening at 7:30 p.m. in the presence of the director in the Alhambra-Zephir room in La Marsa.
The projections will continue in Tunis until September 26, then in other Tunisian cities until October 4 (Sousse, Sidi Bouzid, Gabès, Djerba, Sfax).
The cinematographic event is organized by the delegation of the European Union and the embassies of its member states in Tunisia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture (regional commissariats of Tunis, Sousse, Sfax, Sidi Bouzid, Gabès and Médenine).
Consecrated mainly to the documentary, this session of the JCE will present works by directors of eleven European countries: Poland, France, Czech Republic, Portugal, Germany, Belgium-Wallonia-Brussels, Austria, Spain, Italy, Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
Long and short films from four Maghreb countries “Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco and
Mauritania ”, will be present during the session.
