The American group Rage Against The Machine has just announced the preparation of a new album for 2011, according to an interview with Zack de la Rocha, the singer of the group, to the Chilean daily La Tercera.

Zack de la Rocha said: “We are working on a new album which is to be released next year, perhaps for the summer season of the northern hemisphere”

Created in 1990 in Los Angeles, the group with funk, Metal and Rap influences stands out for its political commitments. His position against racism, capitalism and globalization is so influential that the members of the group are monitored, in particular via their sites and forums, by the CIA.

The group scored the 90s ′ until its dissolution in 2000. In 2007, he reformed for the Coachella festival but he had not returned to the studio. The group’s guitarist, Tom Morello, had even made an album with Street Sweeper Social Club.
