Tunis | The Ciné-Club Le Cercle de l’Alhambra pays homage to the icon of Egyptian cinema Faten Hamama which left us on January 17, 2015 with the screening of the film “El Haram” by director Henry Barakat released in 1965, followed by a debate, this Tuesday, January 27 at the Alhambra theater in Tunis from 6 p.m.
Faten Hamama, born in 1931, made her debut on the screen from the age of 9 with her participation in the film “Happy Day” in 1940.
She participated in several films under the directions of the greatest Egyptian directors including Youssef Chahine, Henry Baraket and so many others.
“El Haram, the sin” is a film directed by Henry Baraket in 1965, lasting 105 minutes, he was nominated in the official selection at the Cannes Festival in 1965.
