Five visual artists are gathered by the new ribbed from the La Mamma restaurant until June 12. A charming exhibition in a legendary place.
An essential restaurant in downtown Tunis, the Mamma is the most popular Signora of gourmets. Founded in the early 1970s and now fifties, this brand is the fruit of the efforts of the great Ahmed Aloulou, its founder.
Today, after the disappearance of the one who was a benchmark for all restaurateurs in the capital and Hammamet, the restaurant La Mamma continues its career under the leadership of the children of Ahmed Aloulou.
In the wake of their father, they have always offered a special place to the arts and creators. They thus confirm the choices of Ahmed Aloulou who, a few decades ago, had created a Habib Bouabana space in one of its restaurants.
Today, Mamma opens up to the arts by organizing a collective exhibition with five renowned artists: Mourad Harbaoui, Houda Ajili, Ali Batrouni, Sahla Weslati and the Dutch Hetty Van Der Linden.
Inaugurated on May 12, this exhibition will continue until June 12, every day except Sunday, from noon to midnight, in the sumptuous and friendly framework of Mamma, a brand always imitated but never equaled.
