The Ministry of Cultural Affairs organized, Wednesday, November 1, 2023, the “day of solidarity with the Palestinian people”.
A day marked by the screening of three films by Palestinian and Arab directors.
These are the films “Kafr Kassem” fiction of the disappeared Lebanese Borhane Alaouié, winner of the Tanit d’Or of the JCC 1974.
The second film is “Palestinian women”, Palestinian documentary, born in Lebanon, Jocelyne Saab (1974).
And the “Shatilla children”, documentary of the Palestinian, born in Jordan, May Masri (1998).
Culture houses, public libraries as well as cultural centers and complexes house the projections of these films.
This program is organized the day before the commemoration of the Balfur Declaration, dating from November 2, 1917, which constitutes one of the striking stages in the history of Palestine preceding the Nakba of 1948.
