At the invitation of the Cervantes Institute, the neo-traditional musician Karmento will be in Tunisia for a unique concert.
The Tunisian public has an appointment on November 20 at 7:30 p.m. with the Spanish musician Karmento for a unique recital at Ennejma Ezzahra.
This concert is part of the sixteenth edition of the musical program “Cervantes en route”, in collaboration with the AIE (Société des artistes interpreters or executors of Spain).
Carmen Toledo, artistically known as Karmento is a folklore artist who started in 2012 when she settled in Malta. It was there that she began to rub shoulders with international musicians and compose the songs of her first album “Mudanzas”.
In 2020, with the release of her second album, “Este becoming”, she imposed herself as one of the major figures of Spanish neofolklore.
This album was selected from the ten best traditional music albums by “Mondosonoro”.
Karmento also published in February 2024 a new album entitled “La Serrana”. An artist to discover.
