Last night, on July 9, Bayrem Ben Kilani (alias Bendir Man) gave a concert to the Carthage acropolium, in duet with the Algerian singer Baaziz.
It was by thanking “Ba3eth Al Kanet” and sporting a t-shirt with the inscription “Ba3eth Al Kanet 2014” that Bendir Man made his entry on stage. Something that obviously did not please journalists from the Hannibal channel. The latter apologized to the artist and left the festival before he even begins.
The two engaged singers did not fail with their reputation.
Everyone went there, from the Prime Minister, Béji Caïd Essebsi in Soufia Sadek (whose husband has already complained to the manager of Bendir Man, advanced the latter), without omitting Nabil Karoui and the Ennahdha party. Baaziz, for his part, tackled “Bouteflika” alias “Super Mario” and his generals …
Among the few tirades of the artist, we note the one where he says that we have won three things of the Revolution: “Bendirman went on the stage of Carthage, an increase on the wages of the police and BCE came out of the drawer” BCE Kharjouh Mel “”. Following which, the public replied “Mel Kbar not Mel Kjar” (from the grave not of the drawer).
Bendirman also sang “Ya Bouna Lahnin” about Nabil Karoui, criticizing the “jacket” of the latter between before and after the revolution.
The concert, which drained a crowd of all ages, was a real success. The musical repertoire oscillated between clean creations and tributes to the old generations of the committed song. The artists have shown a lot of humor, which left no one indifferent.
May there is a time for everything … a time to laugh, a time to cry …

Before the end of the concert, Bendir Man, swapped his “Ba3eth Al Kanet 2014” t-shirt against a “Free Feriani”, the policeman whose artist defends the cause, denounces the conditions of imprisonment and calls for a fair trial …
Webdo asked him if all his political commitment was not too “dbandir”, if he was not caressing in the sense of the hair. Doesn’t he just say what all Tunisians want to hear? Can we say that Bendirman also “Rkeb 3athawra”?
He replied, “Yes I say what everyone says, but with a small difference: what the majority say very low, I say it aloud.
I proclaim myself to be before Gardiste, nor anything. I am a simple citizen. If I say what everyone thinks, it’s because I think like them. I cannot talk about existential problems when basic things in everyday life are so bad, while Arbi Nassra annoys us. And if not, as I said during the concert, I am the one who is most “climbed on the Revolution” after the police !!! I did revolutionary surfing !!! I was forbidden on stage, I am on the stage of Carthage ”.
Other Bendir Man concerts are scheduled: on July 19 in Monastir, on 22 in Siliana, the 24th in Sousse, the 26th in Mahdia and the 30 in Bizerte.
