The 69ᵉ London Film Festival (October 8-19, 2025) will highlight two Tunisian films: “The Voice of Hind Rajab” by Kaouther Ben Hania, in official competition, and “Promised Sky” by Erige Sehiri, selected in the Journey section.
Kaouther Ben Hania presents in London “The Voice of Hind Rajab”, already winner of the silver lion and the Grand Prix of the Jury at the Venice Mostra 2025. The film, inspired by the tragic history of a girl killed in Gaza in 2024, moved international criticism and will be the official candidacy of Tunisia 2026. national preview on September 10.
Erige Sehiri reveals “Promised Sky”, a fiction centered on three young Ivorian women living in Tunisia. After his world premiere in Cannes (a certain look), he was projected in London in the Journey section.

These selections confirm the vitality of Tunisian cinema, carried by two flagship directors supported by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs and the CNCI.
“The Voice of Hind Rajab” continues a remarkable international trajectory after Venice, Toronto and San Sebastián.
“Promised Sky” illustrates the diversity of migratory stories in Tunisia, with a casting combining Ivorian and Tunisian artists.
