On November 4, 2024, the Organizing Committee of Carthage Cinematographic Days (JCC) unveiled the full list of Tunisian films selected for this 35ᵉ edition. This year marks a historic record for Tunisia with around thirty films divided into the various sections of the festival.
The 35ᵉ edition is distinguished by the creation of two new sections: the “national competition”, reserved for Tunisian films with specific awards, and “Panorama 35”, a selection of films initially planned for the 2023 edition, postponed due to the cancellation in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Other special programs and tributes
The 35ᵉ Edition of the JCC also offers a special program in tribute to a pioneer of the Tunisian cinematic scene, as well as a documentary film committed on the Palestinian cause: وين صرنا؟/Where are we now?first film made and produced by Tunisian actress Dorra Zarrouk:
- “A special session” in tribute to Salma Baccar, pioneer of Tunisian cinema. The opportunity for the public to discover in the world preview his latest work, Ennafoura/The Golden House.
- “A special session” as part of the program dedicated to Palestine, which will honor the documentary feature The life that remains. This film constitutes the first cinematographic production of Tunisian actress Dorra Zarrouk, who also provides production. The documentary retraces the route of the refugees of Gaza towards Egypt, offering a deep look at their reality.

This 35ᵉ edition of the JCC, which will be held from December 14 to 21, 2024, promises to be promising in terms of diversity and cinematic wealth, allowing the Tunisian public to discover and celebrate the creativity and commitment of local filmmakers.
