When an Austrian musician plants some accordion seeds!
The association Les Solistes Mégrine will host the Austrian accordionist Jakob Steinkellner for an exclusive masterclass on the occasion of its arrival in Tunisia.
This masterclass will take place Monday, November 18 at 6 p.m. at the association’s headquarters. The young musicians brooded by the soloists will have the opportunity to discover Jakob Steinkellner, originally from Haute-Austria, and virtuoso of the Styria accordion.
This innovative and inspiring artist is recognized for his ability to push the limits of this instrument. It combines alpine folk sounds with modern influences, creating a unique fusion between classical music, tango and popular music.
This masterclass precedes its inauguration concert of the Acropolium Extended Sessions cycle, an extension of the musical October of Carthage, which will take place on November 19 at the Goulette church. Of course, entry is free and free participation.
Very motivated by these meetings, Jakob Steinkellner will also host a gaming demonstration at the accordion with young students in the Don Bosco school. Enough to plant some accordion seeds in our musical landscape.
