The curtain will rise on July 11, 2025 on the 59th edition of the Hammamet International Festival (FIH), which will be held until August 13 at the International Cultural Center in Hammamet. Placed under the sign of diversity and creation, this edition – organized under the slogan “continuous vibes” – will offer 36 shows spread over 33 evenings, with artists from 15 countries from the five continents.

The opening evening will be marked by the presentation of “Ragouj”, scenic adaptation of the Ramadanesque eponymous television series. Directed by Abdelhamid Bouchnak, on a musical composition by Hamza Bouchnak, the musical will bring together an orchestra of 40 musicians and choreographies signed Oumaima Manaï. This first evening will pay tribute to rapper Kafon (Ahmed Laabidi), an emblematic figure of the Tunisian music scene, recently disappeared.

The FIH 2025 promises an eclectic musical program, mixing classic Tarab, jazz, rai, flamenco, gnawa, electro, salsa, African music, symphonic and urban pop. The public will be able to find big names like Lotfi Bouchnak, Saber Rebai, Balti, Ghazi Ayadi (Tunisia), Wael Jassar (Lebanon), Cheb Mami (Algeria), Nass El Ghiwane (Morocco), Noel Kharman (Palestine), Naïka (Haiti-France), Yuri Buenaventura (Colombia) or Baskou Kouyaté (Mali).

The Tunisian theater will occupy a place of choice with four major creations, including “Mother of the countries” of Hafedh Khalifa, a historic fresco on Abu Zakaria El Hafsi, “Ad Vitam” by Leila Toubel, “au violin” by Fadhel Jaziri, and “La Dame de Kerkoine” by Wajdi Gaidi and Houssem Sahli, Phoenician.

Imed Jemaa’s “Arboune” show will explore the artist’s condition in the post-Cavid. Other innovative contemporary projects, such as “Sinouj Odyssey” by Benjemy, “Osool” by Yacine Boularès, and “24 perfumes – the symphonic stars” by Mohamed Ali Kammoun, illustrate the opening of the festival to artistic innovation.

A special evening entitled “Symphonica” will pay tribute to icons of French song such as Dalida, Aznavour and Édith Piaf, with the voices of the Tunisian Zeineb Oueslati and the French Philippe Cavaillé.

The festival will end on August 13, the symbolic date of the national day of Tunisian women, with a concert by Nabiha Karaouli in tribute to women, in a tarabic and committed spirit.

This year, tickets are exclusively available online, via the official festival website: festivaldehammamet.com
