Tomorrow, Wednesday March 20, 2024, will be commemorated the 68th anniversary of independence. On this occasion, Tunisian museums, sites and monuments will be free.
Free entry concerns museums, sites and monuments open tomorrow and under the supervision of the Heritage and Cultural Promotion Agency (AMVPPC), under the Ministry of Cultural Affairs.
The practice is not new insofar as it usually applies every first Sunday of each month, on public holidays, during the International Day of Sites and Monuments (April 18), and during the International Museum Day (May 18).
Tunisian citizens and foreigners who live in Tunisia who wish to discover the national heritage wealth distributed throughout the territory of the Republic can benefit from it on presentation of the national identity card or the residence permit.
