Lhe Carthage International Festival announced the cancellation of the HĂ©lĂšne SĂ©gara concert, initially registered in the July 31 programming. A decision in a climate of strong criticisms on social networks, where the French artist was accused of pro-Israeli sympathies, without the official press release of the festival explicitly mentioning these reasons.
For her part, HĂ©lĂšne SĂ©gara claims to have never been engaged for this event. Contacted by AFP, she reacted in these terms: âI learn the cancellation of a concert that I have never signed. No concert was planned â. The singer thus denies any intention to go on stage in Carthage this summer.
