Fethi Haddaoui, an emblematic figure of Tunisian art, disappears!

Renowned actor Fethi Haddaoui died this Thursday evening, December 12, 2024, at the age of 63.

The Tunisian artistic world is in mourning. Fethi Haddaoui, actor, screenwriter and emblematic director, died. An essential figure in theater, cinema and television in Tunisia, he leaves behind an unrivaled artistic heritage and an indelible imprint in the hearts of his contemporaries.

Born in 1961, Fethi Haddaoui took her first steps in the artistic world at the Ibn-Charaf high school, under the inspiring direction of his teacher Hammadi Mezzi. He quickly turned to the amateur theater before joining the Higher Institute of Dramatic Art in Tunis, where he shone and graduated in 1986.

During his career, he embodied memorable roles in Tunisian, Arab and European dramatic productions. His impressive record includes 21 feature films, 3 short films, 32 television series, 6 plays and 2 radio creations.

Fethi Haddaoui was much more than an actor. He was a creative soul, a visionary, always looking for innovative projects that challenged the sensitivities of his audience. His versatility allowed him to succeed in historical and contemporary, Tunisian, Arab or even European productions.
