Georges Mousatki wrote for the greatest performers like Piaf, Montand, Reggiani, Greco, Barbara, before singing his songs himself, with great success.
These most famous songs remain Milord, written for Edith Piaf in 1958 and translated into several languages, and the metic, written in 1969 and whose refrain goes around the planet.
Succumbing to a respiratory illness that has prevented him from singing since 2011, Georges Moustaki is taking his reverence today.
