In the vestibule of her house in the medina of Tunis, Malika takes advantage of the breeze. Immersed in the preparation of the dough which will be used to make mlaoui breads, she does not see the hours passing.
Malika sells sandwiches that she makes with eggs, melted cheese and harissa. Her recipes allow her to provide valuable support to her family.
Like many women in the medina, Malika manages to engage in an income-generating activity. With few means and a lot of courage, she shares bread and good humor from the skifa of her home.
