The 49th edition of the Dougga International Festival will be held from June 28 to July 8, 2025 in the majestic setting of ancient theater. On the program: eight evenings combining Tunisian voice, Arab artists and talents from the United Kingdom, Austria and Spain, for an eclectic celebration of world music.

The Dougga International Festival returns from June 28 to July 8, 2025 for a 49th edition which promises to be rich and eclectic. Eight evenings will host the ancient theater of Dougga, with a program mixing Tunisian voice, Arab talents and international sounds.

The Tunisian scene will be particularly highlighted this year, with four evenings on the eight programmed. The festival will open on Saturday June 28 with a tribute to the Tunisian tarab carried by the deep voice of Eya Daghnouj in the show “Fi Hadhrat Ettarab Ettounsi”.

Another highlight: the closing evening, scheduled for Tuesday July 8, will bring together Hamza and Abdelhamid Bouchnak around the concert “Ragouj”, inspired by the eponymous series produced by the latter. Between nostalgia television and musical modernity, the brothers promise an energy finale.

Rapper Jenjoon, alias Omar Twihri, will go on stage on July 1 with “Orchestra rates”, a show that merges hip-hop and orchestral arrangements. The singer hired Emel Mathluthi, an essential figure of the alternative scene, will perform the next day, Wednesday July 2.

The Egyptian singer Tul8te, a true musical phenomenon of the Arab world, will perform on June 29. Always masked, he maintains the mystery around his identity while bringing together a large audience with his successful titles.

On Monday, June 30, the Lebanese singer Cindy Latty will pay tribute to Oum Kalthoum with “Kalthoumiyet”, accompanied by the orchestra led by Tunisian violinist Mohamed Lassoued.

The festival will also open to other musical horizons. On July 4, the British singer Lily Lyons will share the scene with the Afro Arabik Walzer Orchestra, Austrian formation which Marie Jazz, classical and oriental music.

On July 5, place at the World Music with the show “Dreams Come True”, interpreted by the artist Norbe and the Philharmonic Orchestra of Barcelona, ​​for an evening between emotions and cultural mixing.
