During work carried out in the Ksouda region, five kilometers from the delegation of Ouled Haffouz (governorate of Sidi Bouzid), the agents of the National Water Operation and Distribution Society (Sonede) discovered three rare engravings, which would go back in Roman times, reports the TAP agency.
These three archaeological engravings, each measuring 2.5 meters by 70 cm bear various inscriptions, natural images or human figures, but the inscription of a palm is a rare indication according to the regional director of culture.
Pending perhaps other discoveries of this kind, a team from the National Heritage Institute (INP) has been dispatched to the scene to start in-depth research.
