Their friendship questions FLAM’s beliefs about the world around them, and leads spectators in an adventure full of emotions and discoveries.
For Pete Docter, director of the creation of Pixar, this return to the Cannes Film Festival has a particular meaning. “” While we leave our pandemic cocoons to finally find ourselves in our studios and work together around writing, animation or brainstorming sessions, it is a joy and an honor to see Pixar back on the Croisette. Directed by the extraordinary storyteller that is Peter Sohn, Elementary is a funny film, full of life and, very honestly, amazing to watch. It was created so that the public could experience it on the big screen and I am delighted that it is presented in a global preview in Cannes.“”
To give life to the endearing characters of the city of Element City, the Disney studios called on the talents of French actors Adèle Exarchopoulos and Vincent Lacoste to lend their voices to the characters of Flam and Flack in the French version. For the two actors, this is a first dubbing experience, but their talent promises to give an authentic and moving life to the characters.
The original voices of the characters are those of Leah Lewis (FLAM) and Mamoudou Athie (Flack), who lend their talent for the original version of the film.
