The Cannes Film Festival has unveiled the names of the members of the Jury of short films and the competition for film film films.
The jury of short films and the competition for film school films will be responsible for awarding the golden palm of the short film among the 10 films selected in competition, and to award the three prizes of the Cinéfondation to the best of the 17 films of students of film schools presented.
As in October 2020, the jury was composed in a joint manner, three women and three men, and will take place without presidency.
The jury is made up of:
– Kaouther ben Hania, Director and screenwriter (Tunisia)
– Tuva Novotny, Director, screenwriter and actress (Sweden)
– Alice Winocour, Director and screenwriter (France)
– Sameh Alaa, Director, producer and screenwriter (Egypt)
– Carlos Muguiro, filmmaker and academic (Spain)
