A few days before the opening of its 42nd edition, scheduled from July 15 to August 19, 2025, the Bizerte International Festival begins to lift the veil on its programming. Pending the official press conference scheduled for Friday, July 4, several big names have already been announced on the official festival page.

Among the highlights, the closing evening promises to be a major event with the musical creation “Ragouj” signed by the Abdelhamid and Hamza Bouchnak brothers. After the success of their show “Ocheg Edenia” in 2023, the duo returns with this new production which will be presented on August 19 on the stage of the open -air amphitheater of Bizerte.

Another expected name: the Tunisian singer Mortadha Ftiti, who will occur for the second consecutive year. Very popular with young audiences, his concerts generally display complete.

In terms of Arab artists, the public will find the Lebanese Wael Jassar, back in Bizerte after his last appearance in 2022, as well as the Syrian Al-Shami, who will go up for the first time on the festival stage.

The director of the festival, Lotfi Sfaxi, said on the waves of the national radio that the program will include between 18 and 19 shows. The opening will be marked by a creation specific to the festival: “Rehlet Ajyel” (generation journey), a musical fresco retracing the history of the heritage of Bizerte, from Khemaies Tarnane to the late Fayçal Rjiba. This production, the first of its kind since 2010, will bring together around 70 artists from the region (Mateur, Ras Jbal, Menzel Abderrahmane, etc.) under the direction of Yosri Mokdad.

Rapper Balti, essential on the Tunisian urban scene, will also be one of the guests of this 42nd edition. Four foreign shows are planned this year, including two as part of international cooperation. One of them will be a jazz and blues concert from Senegal.

Still as part of cultural diplomacy, the Oriental Heritage Choir of Canada has announced on its official page that it will launch its summer tour in Tunisia by a service at the Bizerte Festival on August 6. She will then continue at the Monastir Festival and the Nocturnes of El Jem.
