It is today, Thursday, November 9, that the opening of the exhibition “Topophilia” will take place at the Le Violin Bleu violin gallery in Sidi Bou Said.
Organized as part of the “Blue Wind Project” with Commissioner Khadija Hamdi, this exhibition will continue until January 3, 2024.
This unprecedented artistic project is carried by Khadija Hamdi, doctor of art history and independent curator. This project aims to establish a working and reflection environment capable of systematizing the efforts made to bring the two banks closer to the artistic Mediterranean.
Animated by his passion for Tunisia and for Spain, Khadija Hamdi has set up the Blue Wind Project, the Curatorial Program of the Le Violin Bleu Gallery, to accompany artists from the two edges of the Mediterranean, in particular the Iberian Peninsula and Tunisia, through projects of exhibitions, conferences and bipartite exchanges in the expanding field of art.
The exhibition “Topophilia” is an invitation to enter the world of Asma Ben Aissa, where textiles and thread become visual accounts exploring the essence of habitat, home, house, construction/deconstruction.
“Topophilia”, the first personal exhibition of the artist Asma Ben Aissa, is a journey woven in imaginary landscapes, redefining our relationship with the environment and the objects around us.
