The Alliance Française de Tunis, under the presidency of Mr. Mohamed Aissaoui, is preparing to launch the ALECA Program, an acronym for “Future: Links, Exchanges, Cultures and Academies”.
This ambitious project is dedicated to intellectual, philosophical and cultural exchanges between Africa, the Mediterranean and Europe.
The first meeting-debate will take place today, Monday December 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the French Institute. Moderated by Ahlem Ghayaza, it will focus on the theme “Demanding relational humanism”.
The participants in the debate are:
- François Dosse, epistemologist and historian of ideas
- Alain Godonou, historian and specialist in heritage policies
- Thiémélé Léon Boa, Ivorian philosopher, major figure in African humanities
The evening will continue with a dance show in African colors, performed by young Tunisian artists.
This first meeting inaugurates a cycle of reflection at the heart of today’s cultural and geopolitical issues.
