Tunis | The sixth evening of the Jazz Festival in Carthage 2015 took place Thursday April 16 at the Palais des Congrès with the concerts of the Spanish duo Chano Dominguez and Nino Josele as well as the American singer Akua Naru, in an archical room and an audience of all ages.
A start of the evening on a rhythm of Iberian jazz
The first show only lasted a short hour and passionate about the public less. It was given by the Spanish duo with Chano Dominguez at the piano and Nino Joselo on the guitar. The duo presented his new album “Chano & Josele” played on an air of Iberian jazz and composed sometimes for two, sometimes solo.
Akua Naru enchants the public
The second show started around 10 p.m. with the entry of the hip-hop singer and poet Akua Naru who achieved a magnificent performance mixing hip-hop, jazz and blues.
Accompanied by applause of the room at its entrance, Akua Naru asked the public to get up and get closer to the scene while accompanying it during his songs. A thrilling atmosphere that lasted more than an hour and a half thanks to the harmony found between the singer and an audience who was devoted to her.Akua Naru never stopped repeating during her show “I Love Tunisie”, “I’m Happy to Be there” (I like Tunisia, I am happy to be here) and to thank the public.
The American singer dedicated a new song to the black Americans victims of the abuse of the American police.
