“No Other Land”, a work produced by four Palestinian and Israeli filmmakers wins the Oscar for the best documentary film.
The Oscar list includes for the first time in the history of these prizes, a Palestinian film.
It is “No Other Land” (no other lands), a work produced and produced by four filmmakers who are Basel Adra, Yuval Abraham, Rachel Szor and Hamda Ballel.
This documentary is the account of the fight for the survival of the inhabitants of the Palestinian village of Masafar Yatta.
The Oscars ceremony took place on Sunday March 2.
