Grève à la STEG le 17 juillet

A temporary interruption of power supply is planned for Sunday in several areas of Mahdia governorate. The Tunisian Electricity and Gas Company announces maintenance work requiring an outage of several hours.

The Tunisian Electricity and Gas Company (STEG), Mahdia district, announced a power cut scheduled for Sunday, January 4. The interruption will occur between 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. and will affect several neighborhoods and roads in the region.

The areas affected by the cut

The cut will notably affect the perimeter between rue de l’Environnement and rue Kheireddine, as well as the areas of Hofret Ettefza and El Malaji. Several road axes are also affected, including the El Hajib road, the Ksour Essef transport station, the El Hammam, El Douira, Salakta and Sfax roads, as well as the Mnagaa road.

Other sectors will be affected, in particular the area extending from rue du 13 Août to rue Palestine, as well as the axis linking the Carrefour de l’Horloge to the Carrefour de Bradaa.

Maintenance work causing the shutdown

According to STEG, this interruption is part of scheduled maintenance work on the electricity network. The company specifies that power will be restored automatically upon completion of the interventions, without notice, in all areas concerned.
