The General Customs Administration recalled, in a press release published this Monday, that Tuesday December 30, 2025 constitutes the last deadline for the regularization of customs situations for cars and motorcycles registered under the “RS” series.
This reminder concerns citizens who have submitted, before October 31, 2025, requests for regularization within the framework of the provisions of article 80 of the finance law for the year 2025, without however finalizing the procedure by paying the duties and taxes due.
According to customs, any request not regularized before this deadline will be considered obsolete, exposing the owners concerned to the sanctions provided for by the customs legislation in force. The administration thus emphasizes the need to complete the procedures within the allotted time frame in order to avoid possible prosecution or financial penalties.
Regularize their situation according to supervised procedures
Article 80 of the 2025 finance law opened an exceptional window allowing owners of vehicles and two-wheelers registered “RS” to regularize their situation according to supervised terms, with the aim of bringing the fleet in question into compliance and cleaning up.
As the deadline approaches, customs calls on the persons concerned to contact the competent services without delay to finalize their files and settle the amounts due, emphasizing that no extension of the deadline has been announced at this stage.
