In Testour, everyone knows Alaeddine and his workshop on the town’s main street. Sitting at his loom, cutting and shaping handles for agricultural tools, Alaeddine puts all his heart into the work and, on a daily basis, honors the memory of his father.
The latter, named Antar, remained in everyone’s memory. His presence is so anchored that his son is referred to by his father’s first name. Never mind! Alaeddine knows that the most important thing is the quality of the work accomplished.
Working with wood, equalizing the volumes, Antar’s son swears by quality. And in Testour, people come from several miles around for the objects which, designed by his hands, come out of his timeless workshop.
