With a gold medal and a silver medal, the Tunisian kyokushinkai selection marked a remarkable participation in the Worlds, carried by two athletes aged under 20.

Tunisia distinguished itself at the Kyokushinkai World Championships, held in Saudi Arabia, by winning two medals thanks to promising young athletes. Abderrahmane Dridi and Rakia Mnasser carried the national colors high in their respective categories, confirming the progression of Tunisian kyokushinkai karate on the international scene.

Abderrahmane Dridi crowned world champion

At only 19 years old, Abderrahmane Dridi won the gold medal in the under 90 kg category, at the end of a mastered journey against tough competition. His performance allows him to establish himself as one of the new strong faces of Tunisian kyokushinkai on a global scale.

World money for Rakia Mnasser

For her part, Rakia Mnasser, aged 20, won the silver medal in the under 65 kg category. The Tunisian karateka delivered a solid performance throughout the competition, confirming her potential and consistency at the highest level.
