The Espérance – Club Africain derby hosted yesterday by Park B was punctuated by unacceptable attacks suffered by the Club players.
This violence reflects the deleterious atmosphere in which young people’s sporting events sometimes take place and the dangers incurred by the latter because of fanaticized audiences.
This violence which has become ordinary must not be ignored by the teams concerned, the League and the Federation.
Yesterday, the EST-CA match in the junior category was stopped early, two minutes from the end, while Club Africain was leading by 2 to 1. A brutal invasion led to the match being stopped and caused several injuries in the club camp.
Sad reality and stupid actions of supporters who are the shame of our sport.
