The plenary of the Assembly of People’s Representatives, scheduled for this Tuesday morning, was temporarily adjourned by the President of Parliament, Ibrahim Bouderbala. This immediate suspension follows an anomaly noted during the vote on an article of the 2026 finance bill.

Inconsistent votes revealed

The president indicated that the number of MPs present was 91, while the number of votes recorded on the article stood at 104, highlighting “phantom votes”, reports Mosaique fm.

The session should resume after verification of the quorum and the regularity of votes. This interruption highlights possible dysfunctions in the electronic voting process and rekindles the debate on the transparency of parliamentary procedures.
