Tunisian actor and comedian Noureddine Ben Ayed died this Sunday, November 23 at the age of 73, leaving behind a deep mark on Tunisian television and theater.
The Ministry of Cultural Affairs paid tribute to the memory of an artist who left his mark on several generations. His popular roles, his sketches that have become cult and his stage presence have shaped a unanimously acclaimed career.
An essential artist of the small screen
A familiar figure to the Tunisian public, Noureddine Ben Ayed has spanned several decades of television creation. He participated in many productions that have become emblematic, including Hkayet Mnawar, Khatini (1986), El-Aasifa (1993), Ghada (1994) and El-Hasad (1995).
His spontaneous humor, his comic gestures and his ability to embody popular characters have earned him lasting admiration, making him one of the most appreciated actors in the national audiovisual landscape.
