The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, received this Friday at the Palace of Carthage the letters of credence of three new ambassadors, including Bill Bazzi, now official representative of the United States in Tunisia. The ceremony took place in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Ali Nafti.
New ambassadors welcomed in Carthage
During this official ceremony, Kaïs Saïed successively welcomed three newly accredited diplomats: Appolinaire Sawadogo, ambassador of Burkina Faso, Milad Nammour, ambassador of Lebanon and Bill Bazzi, ambassador of the United States of America
The arrival of the American diplomat marks an important step in the continuity of Tunisian-American relations, at a time when political, economic and security exchanges remain particularly strategic.
