Tunisia will experience unstable weather this Thursday marked by scattered and sometimes stormy rains in the south of the country. The north will also be affected by a deterioration in the evening, with cloudy passages gradually becoming dense and locally intense showers during the night. The wind, sometimes powerful near the coast, will reinforce the choppy conditions at sea.
Instability and sustained winds
According to the weather report, precipitation will first affect the southern and southeastern regions in the form of scattered rains, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms. In the center and north, the sky will remain variable during the day before getting heavier at the end of the afternoon on the northern coasts, where stormy showers are expected during the night.
The winds will blow from the west, with relatively strong intensities near the coast, occasionally exceeding 70 km/h in gusts under storm cells. Inside the country, they will remain low to moderate. At sea, the condition will gradually deteriorate: the sea, already rough, will become very rough in the north as the evening progresses.
Cool weather on the heights
Maximum temperatures will vary between 17 and 22°C in most areas, not exceeding 15°C in higher elevations. The far south will benefit from noticeably milder weather, with values reaching 24°C.
