After a weekend marked by sustained precipitation in the northern regions, the weather remains unstable this Monday with isolated showers on the northern coasts and temperatures oscillating between 17 and 25°C.

According to the National Institute of Meteorology (INM), the sky will sometimes be very cloudy over the northern coastal regions with a few local showers in the morning, before becoming temporarily cloudy over the rest of the country.

The wind will blow from the west, relatively strong near the coasts and on the heights, but weak to moderate inland.

Maximum temperatures will vary between 17 and 21°C in the north and center-west, and between 22 and 25°C in other regions.

Up to 60 mm of rain in Aïn Draham

The last 24 hours have been particularly rainy in several northern governorates, particularly in the Jendouba region.

Rainfall records indicate 60 mm at Aïn Draham, 20 mm at Beni Metir, 10 mm at the Bouhertma dam and 8 mm at Tabarka.

In the other governorates, the most significant quantities were recorded in Metline (10 mm) and Rafraf (8 mm) in the governorate of Bizerte, as well as in Nefza (8 mm) and Amdoun (7 mm) in that of Béja.

In Tunis, precipitation did not exceed 6 mm in Sidi Bou Saïd, a figure equivalent to that recorded in Sidi Thabet and Charfech in the governorate of Ariana.
