The prices of Umrah stays for the 2025 season have been officially revealed by the Tunisian Federation of Travel Agencies (FTAV). Rates vary significantly depending on the period chosen, the hotel category and the services included, Mohamed Ilyes Ben Othman, president of the Umrah and Hajj commission within the Federation, said this Wednesday.

Formulas from 3800 dinars

Guest of National Radio, Ben Othman indicated that the starting price for an economical Umrah amounts to 3,800 dinars per person, for a stay in a quadruple room in a three-star hotel.

This price rises to 4200 dinars for accommodation in a four-star hotel, and can reach 4600 to 4800 dinars depending on the services and the proximity of the holy places.

High-end stays above 5,500 dinars

For pilgrims wishing to opt for superior comfort, the price of packages in five-star hotels exceeds 5,500 dinars, said the official. These offers generally include personalized services, more comprehensive support and a location closer to the Sacred Mosque.

A variation depending on the period and demand

Ben Othman recalled that Umrah prices are not fixed throughout the year: they change according to the religious seasons, demand and logistical costs linked to accommodation and air transport.

He also insisted on the need to use approved agencies to avoid any fraud or disorganization of the trip, a phenomenon still observed despite increased controls by the Saudi and Tunisian authorities.
