The Tunisian Soumoud Flotilla Committee announced that all in-kind donations collected for Gaza, but which could not be transported to the Palestinian enclave, were handed over to the Tunisian Red Crescent.

Redistribution of donations and transparency of accounts

In a press release published at the end of its Sunday meeting, the committee specifies that its financial team has been responsible for developing a detailed report on the management of donations, which will be made public within 45 days.

The committee also decided to pay the entire remaining financial balance for the benefit of the children of Gaza, via the “SOS Gammarth” association. He stressed that all financial operations – from collection to closing – were carried out under the supervision of a lawyer, a bailiff and a chartered accountant, in order to guarantee the transparency of the campaign.

A mobilization that continues for Gaza

The Soumoud Flotilla Committee reaffirmed its determination to continue the action aimed at breaking the blockade imposed on Gaza, until it is completely lifted.

In the same press release, he insisted on the continuity of Tunisian solidarity with the Palestinian people, affirming that “this will only end with the complete liberation of Palestine”.
